Thanksgiving Break

Brooklyn had the whole week off for Thanksgiving so we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We started the week off by going to the tidepools at Laguna Beach with my dad, mom, brother and sister.
Nathan said that some of the anemones looked like donuts, and they did! The girls had fun playing in the sandIt might be hard to tell, but my pants are wet and sandy up to my knee. And you might notice I have only one shoe on. Why is that you might ask? Funny story. I stepped in quicksand and lost my shoe at the beach! It was a little scary, especially since Hunter was on my back. The kids were a little traumatized about me losing my sandal. Then when we were going home Brooklyn went to wash her hands off in the ocean and lost her shoes. She started crying, but they washed back up to us. Also, Bonnie's sandal broke so she had to throw those away. We were not having good luck with shoes that day! Here's my dad trying to find my shoe, but he could never get that deep again. I must have just stepped in the right (wrong) place at the right (wrong) time.

We went up to Lake Arrowhead for Thanksgiving and it was just beautiful up there.

That's weird, Nathan is actually smiling and looking at the camera at the same time :)

Brooklyn showing off her tooth she lost fairly recently. We're working hard on the other one so she can sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"

Hunter is such a fun baby, we love hime oh so much!

Here's Kevin trying to look tough after they went shooting and the scope hit him in the eye.

Here's me and Hunter, photography compliments to Brooklyn.

We had fun with grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and first-cousins-once-removed (hee, hee). We made gingerbread Nightmare Before Christmas Houses and enjoyed the coldness of the mountains. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
