Hunter 4 Years Old

Hunter always acts older, trying to fit in with his big brother and sister, but now he really is such a big boy! I can't believe he is 4 years old! He wanted a transformer cake so this is what I came up with:

We had family over for cake and ice cream but Hunter was expecting games so we came up with a last minute game of musical squares to the music of the old cartoon Transformers theme song. Nathan and Hunter helped me color the Transformer coloring pages that day while we waited for Brooklyn at gymnastics!
Here are a few of Hunter's favorite things:
Color: all of them
Food: pancakes
Toy: his weapons
Movie: Star Wars
Video game: Star Wars Game
Board Game: Don't Wake Up Daddy
Sport: Basketball
Places to go: Ice cream store and Library
Hunter is such a fun boy. He usually knows what he wants and isn't afraid to speak his mind (if he knows you really well--if not don't expect to hear much!). He loves to play outside, go super fast on his scooter, is enjoying riding his bike, always looks forward to library day, playgroup day, and preschool day. He is learning his letters and lately he talks about the sounds of the letters and which words start with that letter. He'll give you a whole list! He is also amazing to watch with a light saber or sword--very intimidating!
We didn't do a full on party this year because a couple of days later we went to........drum roll........Disneyland!!!! The kids were so excited they couldn't stand it the day before we went! (Kevin? never too excited about Disneyland, plus not feeling well--so glad he puts up with the rest of us!)

I've never seen such an amazing Sleeping Beauty's castle. This picture doesn't even do it justice, it was spectacular! We got to enjoy the last day of all the Christmas decorations, including the Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted House ride, so fun!

Hunter's pick that day was the Winnie the Pooh ride, which he loved! We loved spending the day with Aunt Sylvia too :) The kids all wanted to ride with her, we had to keep switching it up! We also went on Nemo ride for the first time, and even though Hunter got a little scared when all the lights went out and there was loud scary sounds he said that was his favorite ride!
We got to experience the new and improved Star Tours (where there a fizzilion different options for what story you experience) and Hunter was caught as the rebel spy! He looked so cute with his hood on, he looked like a little Jedi.
It was a great day at Disneyland and California Adventure. Nathan's favorite was Thunder Mountain and Brooklyn's was California Screamin' (Little Mermaid was a close second--which was the longest line we stood in at 30 minutes--thank you fast passes!) She also went on Hollywood Tower of Terror with just me (which is MY favorite ride). She said she liked it and could see why I liked it so much (during the ride she said "This is fun!") but she had other favorites!
