Piano party

I teach my children piano lessons, but I just teach the two of them. So since they aren't part of a larger studio and don't have the chance to perform too often, I decided to invite friends over that take lessons and have a piano party! They played name that tune (Christmas songs), musical squares where they had to name the musical note (like quarter, half, dotted half, whole, quarter rest, treble clef, measure, things like that), and red light green light where they took steps according to how many beats a note gets. A friend made this huge piano to dance on and let me borrow it for our piano party, what a fun time they had with that! They also played 1 or 2 songs for everyone. We had a great turn out--they were a lively group!
